Good news! The Suzhou Public Transport Group Suzhou New District Branch has innovatively launched a "Bike-Friendly Bus" service, which began trial operation on January 1, 2026 (available on weekends and during public holidays). 

This service seamlessly connects scenic spots along Taihu Lake, allowing residents and tourists to enjoy a low-carbon travel experience combining "public transport + cycling" with greater ease and leisure.
The special bus route operates between Mashan Tourist Center馬山游客中心 and Jijiawan West, covering a total distance of approximately 14 kilometers. It connects popular destinations such as Taihu Lake RV Camping Park太湖一號(hào)房車(chē)露營(yíng)公園, Suzhou Taihu Cycling Sports Park環(huán)太湖自行車(chē)運(yùn)動(dòng)公園, Chushan Ecological Park杵山生態(tài)公園, Xijing Bay Art Center西京灣藝術(shù)中心, and Naked Water Resort蘇州裸心泊度假村.
During the trial operation period (on weekends and during public holidays), the bus runs daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Passengers can check the real-time schedule via the "蘇智出行" (Suzhou Smart Travel) mini-program.
The special bus service operates on a "one-day advance online booking" model, with a fare of 10 yuan per person per vehicle.The buses on this route have been adaptively modified with detachable bicycle racks, which currently support only non-electric bicycles with a wheel diameter under 28 inches and a total length within 180 cm. Passengers must secure their bikes properly and maintain a safe distance from other passengers and onboard facilities when moving or positioning bicycles to avoid scratches or collisions.
After a successful reservation, passengers should arrive at the bus stop during their scheduled time slot. Please note that services may be temporarily adjusted due to severe weather or other exceptional circumstances. Updates will be posted on the official platform.
