The 2025 China Best Employer Award Ceremony was held recently. Suzhou once again made the lists of "Most Attractive Organizations to Talents" and "Most Employment Promotion Cities."

This marks the sixth consecutive year that Suzhou has been selected as one of China's most attractive cities for talents. The evaluation is based not only on indicators such as talent attraction, retention rates and development vitality, but also on local policies, institutional support, talent programs and concrete achievements.

According to the 2025 Chinese City Big Data Analysis Report issued at the ceremony, cities in the Yangtze River Delta region continue to lead the country in talent attraction. In 2025, non-local job seekers accounted for 25.02% of the total, up 0.95% from 2024. Backed by economic vitality, industrial resources and job opportunities, the YRD remained the top destination for university graduates, with 17.85% favoring a job in the region.

Talent is the core engine for the innovative development of a city. In addition to hosting the Entrepreneurship Week for International Elites for the 17th time this year, Suzhou issued nine measures on young talents and nine measures on AI talents, and launched three AI+ platforms: a full-process intelligent recruitment platform, a smart talent policy matching platform and a comprehensive talent service platform.

Late September, Suzhou was selected as the "Most Attractive Chinese City in the Eyes of Foreign Talents" for the 14th consecutive time. Last month, it was ranked sixth in the Most Attractive Chinese Cities for Post-95s Talent, reflecting its strong appeal to younger generations.
