In an effort to expand the scope of healthcare services and further enhance the quality of public health services, the Tianhe District Health Bureau partnered with Guangzhou Modern Hospital, which serves a large number of overseas patients. Together with the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Baiyun International Airport, they launched the nation's first health service center focused on providing healthcare services to foreign nationals, offering them convenient, efficient, and comprehensive medical support upon their arrival in Guangzhou.

Managed and operated by Guangzhou Modern Hospital, the center provides foreign visitors with free resting areas, wheelchair access, and a variety of health services, including medical consultations, health education, and guidance for accessing medical care.
During its trial period, the center handled an average of over 200 medical consultations for foreign nationals daily and provided medical transportation services to about 30 individuals. The center’s services have been well-received, with positive feedback highlighting Tianhe District’s significant achievements in enhancing healthcare services for foreign nationals.
