At the recent 14th World Cities Culture Summit in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the World Cities Culture Forum released the Fifth Edition of the World Cities Culture Report. The report included three cases from Chengdu, which were digital cultural incubation policy: China’s first municipal-level policy focused on early-stage digital cultural startups; science fiction industry development: China’s first municipal-level science fiction policy that aims to drive the commercialization of cultural IPs; esports city development: the policy support covers the entire industrial chain, including esports events, venues, and local clubs.
