On December 28th, Foreign Talent Research Center, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security(MOHRSS) of China released the survey findings of 2023 “Amazing China----The Most Attractive Chinese Cities in the Eyes of Foreign Talents” on the Opening Ceremony of 2024 Hangzhou International Human Resources Exchange and Cooperation Conference in Hangzhou.

Conference venue

Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Nanjing, Chengdu, and Xiamen are the top-ranked 10 cities according to the Foreign Talent Attractiveness Index of Chinese Cities 2023, followed by Haikou, Chongqing, Dalian, Ningbo, Kunming, Xi’an, Changsha, Changzhou, Hefei, and Jinan.

The Foreign Talent Attractiveness Index of Chinese Cities 2023 is based on 4816 questionnaires filled by foreign talents working or living in China. It analyzes foreign talents’ evaluation on Chinese cities from three dimensions: work satisfaction, life convenience, and environment friendliness, reflecting the comprehensive attractiveness of Chinese cities to foreign talents.
