On June 18, China's first pop-up space featuring Harry Potter-themed transportation cards officially opened at Chaoyangmen Station on Line 6 of Beijing Subway.
The Beijing Municipal Administration & Communication Card Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beijing Yikatong") collaborated with the internationally renowned franchise "Harry Potter" to launch a series of themed transportation cards that can be used nationwide in China. Released on June 5, these cards saw sales exceeding 10,000 on the same day. This time, three series encompassing seven designs are available in the space.
In the space, two eye-catching card readers shaped respectively like a "Chocolate Frog" and a "Lollipop" have become highlights for passengers. By tapping your transportation card on one of them, you can hear fun audio responses of "Muggle Card" or "Wizard Card".
The pop-up space will be open until July 15. During this period, passengers can purchase themed cards on-site and enjoy interactive magical experiences. They can also collect stamps to receive promotional gifts. For those unable to visit the pop-up space in person, cards are also available at the Beijing Yikatong's official stores on Tmall, Xiaohongshu, Weidian, Douyin and PDD, as well as the "Fun Cultural Creations" (趣行文創(chuàng)) section of the "Beijing Yikatong" App. The company created a full consumption loop integrating online shopping and offline fun experiences.
