Starting today, the first batch of 10,000 copies of the printed English edition will be distributed at more than 100 tourist centers across the city. Visitors can get the guide for free at the centers or have its electronic version on the website (https://visitsz.wglj.suzhou.com.cn/en/index.aspx) or WeChat account of "好玩蘇州" (ID: suzhouwlv).

The English guide comprises five parts: Suzhou Travel Guide, Ancient City Travel Guide, Circum-Jinji Lake Travel Guide, Circum-Taihu Lake Travel Guide, and Circum-Yangcheng Lake Travel Guide, covering the city's key tourist spots. The guide also contains legends of World Cultural Heritage sites, national A-level tourist areas (spots), vacation resorts, tourist information service centers, important transport stations, museums, cultural venues, theaters, bookstores, cultural protection units, ancient towns, renowned villages, cultural blocks, malls, hotels, and fitness trails, among others, which directly presents abundant and premium tourism resources to visitors.
In addition, the English edition especially sets up World Cultural Heritage and Related Policies sections, introducing Suzhou classical gardens, the Suzhou section of the Grand Canal, the 144-hour visa-free transit policy, and departure tax refund.
It is noteworthy that the guide contains detailed and useful information, including main tourist information service centers, transportation (Suzhou railway stations, long-distance bus terminals, urban terminal buildings, taxis, and public bicycles), and Rail Transit, helping foreign tourists to enjoy a hassle-free tour of Suzhou with only one map in hand.
