2. Xiaogang Park (曉港公園)
At the southwestern end of Qianjin Road in Haizhu District, Xiaogang Park is adjacent to the Jiangnanxi business district, surrounded by universities such as Sun Yat-sen University and Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Established in 1975, the park features ancient stone bridges, bamboo groves, lotus flowers, ferries, and ancient trees that have flourished for over a century, collectively carrying fond memories for Haizhu district.
Xiaogang Park is renowned in Haizhu as a park of ancient trees. Near the Huazhou Ancient Ferry Archway at the park's west gate, a large banyan tree provides a cool and serene spot for residents to rest. This fine-leaved banyan is approximately 186 years old and is listed as a famous and ancient tree in Guangzhou.
Originally named "Bamboo Park," Xiaogang Park is also home to numerous bamboo plants and is now a favorite spot for residents to engage in shuttlecock kicking, badminton, and tai chi, providing a comfortable and healthy environment.

3. Xiaozhou Village (小洲村)
Anciently known as "Yingzhou," meaning "a small island in the sea," Xiaozhou Village is surrounded by a spider's winding tidal waterways. Here, you can witness another form of ancient trees' branches swaying with the tides, adding a touch of green vitality to the otherwise serene river water. Xiaozhou Village also has many ancestral halls worth visiting.

4. Old Streets
In Haizhu District, ancient trees can be seen, perhaps lining the streets or hidden in the old streets. In the historic and cultural district along Tongfuxi Road (同福西路), Nanhuaxi Road (南華西路), and Hongde Road (洪德路), you may encounter ancient trees beside landmark buildings while walking into the deep alleys.
