Xiamen has been named one of the "Top 10 Cities for New Brand Creation on Tmall in 2025", according to the "2025 New Brand Development Report" released by Tmall on Jan 12. 

Over the past year, 3,686 new stores from Xiamen have opened on the platform, highlighting the city's strong momentum in innovation and entrepreneurship. 

Representative brands from Xiamen, such as ZOZOMOMMY, weflower, and KERLA, have risen in segmented markets including children's wear, trendy footwear, and accessories. By accurately identifying emerging consumer demands and offering differentiated products, these new brands have successfully broken into mature market segments and earned strong market recognition. 

The report simultaneously introduced 50 blue-ocean opportunity sectors for 2026, spanning areas such as smart robotics, AI glasses, skin science, personalized makeup, wearable loungewear, light-custom home decoration, smart mattresses, titanium kitchenware, small-ball sports, lightweight sports equipment, professional trail running, and pet outdoor gear, among others.
