From February 10 to March 3, Yuanmingyuan Park , or Old Summer Palace, will welcome the first "Prosperous Yuanmingyuan · Ten Thousand Gardens Welcoming Spring" (盛世圓明·萬園迎春) lantern night tour event.

With five major themed sections and over 40 sets of large-scale lanterns on display, the event will recreate the grand scene of the royal lantern festival during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, allowing visitors to experience the royal charm of the Chinese New Year.

This event seamlessly integrates cutting-edge technological elements, including sound and light projection, interactive sensing, and digital art. Tourists will be able to touch and interact with the "Stone Monkey" lantern set, and watch fantasy scenes created by the light and shadow special effects. There will also be some dance performances by humanoid robots.

The theme market at the event site will gather cultural and creative handicrafts, fun interactive stalls, as well as authentic Chinese New Year flavors such as sugar-coated haws, hot drinks, and snacks.
