The Suzhou Canal Sports Park will kick off a public welfare program this month that features a year-long series of free sports activities.
As a non-profit initiative, the program offers free admission to the public. The instructors are members of professional sports associations and clubs, as well as fitness influencers. They will provide participants with scientific and standardized guidance backed by solid expertise.
The training will cover not only the basic skills and key movements of each sport, but also essential warm-up routines before exercise and cool-down stretches afterward, in a bid to minimize the risk of sports-related injuries.
The program requires no reservation. Residents can simply go to the designate spot during the activity period to participate. There will be no limit on participant numbers. Notably, selected sessions will be livestreamed via "運(yùn)動蘇州" app, allowing those unable to attend in person to learn remotely.
