Chengdu-based aviation company Sichuan Airlines have planned direct flights from Chengdu to Bali Island, Indonesia, to be inaugurated on September 26 and conducted one-flight each day. The flight route to Bali Island, a world-famous tourist destination renowned for its sunny weather and seaside sights, tropical scenery and distinctive cultures and customs, offers a new option for outbound travelers in the coming Golden Week of National-Day Holidays.

The company will also resume its operation of the round-trip flight between Chengdu and Sapporo, Japan, on October 26, which will be conducted with three flights a week. The route, as a key aviation connection between Chengdu and Hokkaido, was initially launched in January, 2020 and suspended afterwards. The resumption of the route provides easy accessibility for Chinese tourists, especially skiing and winter sport fans, to Hokkaido, a favorable destination of winter tourism. Sichuan Airlines’ operations in Japan also include flights from Chengdu to Tokyo and Osaka, each of which is conducted one-flight each day.
