Linping Grand Theater in Hangzhou kicked off its 5th anniversary celebration on May 10, with the original English musical Love Never Dies, a sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, opening that night.
The show was created by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the father of musicals, and features 29 original cast members, 15 international musicians providing live accompaniment, and over 30 songs weaving the melody of eternal love.
From May 10 to 12, the spectacle will grace the stage of the theater with five consecutive shows.
Prior to the performance, the theater organized a series of activities, including an afternoon tea, cast meet-and-greets, art promotions in schools, and guided tours around Hangzhou.
